Last week at the first annual When Worlds Collide convention in Calgary (August 12-14, 2011), one of the panels was a live performance of Orson Welles’ “War of the Worlds” radio play, based on HG Wells’ book. Yes, this is the same play that made many think aliens had invaded the US. Unfortunately, I only was able to use the first 35 minutes or so – the stuff after the intermission didn’t come out well at all; a fact I attribute to covering the mic with my finger or something on my iPhone. But it’s still an entertaining performance recorded for posterity.
A brief segment from Sunday, July 19, 2011 at the Calgary Comic Expo, during the Ed and Red (Ed the Sock and Liana K) panel where they interviewed several celebrities. Specifically, the chunk where they interviewed Matt Frewer. The whole 45 minutes of the show was awesome, but I figured I’d record this for Peaugh’s benefit. Well, that and I didn’t nearly have the battery power/storage space necessary to record the whole thing, and it was very clearly being caught by cameras at the show.
Tekno Reviews is back with another installment, and a look at the fearsome cyclopean baddie of DOTM! Meanwhile, I get a handle on how to film/edit exclusively with the iPhone/iMovie, and figure out a better way to document transformations than before.
